Veith's program truly exemplifies an international "Center of Excellence." The Center is sought out by visiting clinicians and scientists from around the world. While they are here, these physicians and scientists are exposed to the latest research, endovascular grafting techniques, and diagnostic technologies in vascular surgery and interventional radiology. Jacob Cynamon, MD A Commitment to Minimally Invasive Treatment Jacob Cynamon, MD, Director, Division of Vascular and Interventional Radiology
Diagnosing and treating circulatory diseases has been the focus of Dr. Jacob Cynamon's career as a radiologist at Montefiore Medical Center for over a decade. After he received his MD in 1983 from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, he did his residency in radiology at Montefiore and joined the faculty in 1988. He is now Director of the Divisions of Vascular and Interventional Radiology; he is one of six interventional radiologists who treat vascular disease at the Vascular Center.
Dr. Cynamon organizes and chairs the Annual Symposium on Current Issues and New Techniques in Interventional Radiology in New York City. The conference brings together a faculty of more than 40 internationally renowned interventional radiologists and vascular surgeons. It is one of a few national meetings of it's kind where interventional radiologists and vascular surgeons can share information directed toward helping improve patient management.
